Elijah Leverett, DMD -- he/ him/ hisI grew up in North Yarmouth, Maine and attended Greely High School. I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Medical Biology from the University of New England in Biddeford, ME and played Division III men’s soccer. Prior to dental school matriculation, I spent six months as a volunteer English teacher living with host families in Guanacaste, Costa Rica.At the University of New England College of Dental Medicine (UNE CDM), I received honors distinction as a AHEC CUP (Area Health Education Center Care for the Underserved Pathway) Scholar. Additionally, I received the 2022 UNE CDM Exceptional Community Service Award, UNE CDM Outstanding Student Award, American College of Dentists Outstanding Student Leader Award, and was selected to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon national dental honor society Beta Theta Chapter. I completed a General Practice Residency with Harvard School of Dental Medicine and Cambridge Health Alliance in Massachusetts where I embraced the “Oral Physician Model”, learning to treat patients holistically and comprehensively. I maintain a passion for continuing education and expanding my knowledge in all facets of dentistry and systemic health. It is my desire to continue to implement comprehensive dentistry and constantly evolve my quality of care.Outside of dentistry, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Dominique (who is also a dentist) and our puppy, Enzo. I am an avid hiker/ backpacker, play the guitar, love traveling and I engage in calisthenics and weightlifting as part of my routine.
