I am looking for an opportunity to practice as a General dentist, I would love to be part of a great private or corporate practice and grow a sense of community. I hope to continue to better my skills and learn about more aspects of dentistry and be able to provide the best service I can to my patients. I want to be very well versed and educated in all areas of dentistry. I am just looking for a practice to call my home!
I am incredibly passionate and just love practicing dentistry! I put my heart into everything I do and feel a great deal of satisfaction knowing everyday I am doing the best I can for my patients. I am always open to learning and trying to improve my skills. I believe dentistry is such a beautiful and pivotal part of healthcare that takes a great deal of heart and commitment to service. I want to be part of creating an open and team approach work environment where we all work together to do our best and learn from one another to best treat our patients and have a healthy work environment.
I was raised in Houston Texas but was born in El Salvador, Texas is home I can't wait to be back! . I am fluent in both English and Spanish. I have two sisters one older sister and one twin sister (she unfortunately is not a dentist haha) . I am very detail oriented, I love planning and hosting events for my family and friends and just fostering joy and inspiration! I love the outdoors and dogs. My family means everything to me I know without them and my faith I would not be able to be where I am today!
ASDA D1 Representative I've always wanted to know more about organized dentistry and I think ASDA is just about the best way dental students have to learn more about what is going on in our field and get involved so D1 year I had the privilege of running and getting elected as representative by my classmates. I was in charge of broadcasting events and attending meetings. I was able to go to the ASDA District 7 summit in Breckinridge Colorado and meet other members in our district as well as people in the ADA board and attended a variety of seminars. D2 year Vice-President of the Hispanic Student dental Association HSDA has meant so much to me being first generation in my family you don't always know who to look up to. During my time as officer for the organization we tried to bridge our ties to the profession organization (HDA), fundraised for Dallas ISD back to school fairs, Christmas programs, and also partook in various community service opportunities within our organization and also with HDA. We also had so much fun through social events like salsa dancing, Happy hours, Spanish classes, and banquets! Psi omega Rush chair The reason I chose to rush for Psi O my D1 year was because to me it provided the best of both worlds. It was an organization that not only was close knit and tried to be inclusive to all its members but also was very service focused and cared about reaching out to the community. My D2 year I was one of the rush chairs and did my best to broadcast my experiences to help organize events for the D1 class to get to know us and join our organization. SNDA Lunch and learn coordinator Being the lunch and learn coordinator for SNDA was very eye opening and great networking. Although stressful at times trying to work with D1-D4 schedules, scheduling and meeting with our school administrators to plan out the program, I got to meet so many different vendors and hear what they had to say on their knowledge of different aspects of dentistry. D3 year ASDA Secretary As ASDA secretary I was in charge of keeping an ASDA calendar, meeting with and planning events with the different officers and sending out minutes for all the meetings held through out the year. SNDA D3 representative As the D3 representative I was in charge of sharing events on Facebook, in class and representing in different meetings throughout the year with other chapters . D3 mentor Each year there is a great expectations groups consisting of the incoming D1s, 2-3 practicing dentists and some D3 and D4 students. Last year I was in Dr. Ku and Dr.Partha's group and we got to sit down with the D1s a couple of times through that year and talk about our own experiences and also mentor them and answer any of their questions throughout the year. Honor council representative My D3-D4 year I was elected by my classmates as one of the Honor council representatives, what that consists of is taking in any matter of academic or social injustice such as cheating or inappropriate remarks and trying to come up with an appropriate action before the matter reaches administration and then if need be serve on the student board for whatever actions administration chooses to make. The goal is to instill self-reliance and self –respect and to foster real scholarship and achievement.
