Additional Information
I envision myself to be a dentist with a skillset to effortlessly serve a diverse population with the highest quality of care. I also want to focus on serving the Indonesian community; being bilingual, I have a unique opportunity to pay homage to my ethnic roots and reduce health disparities in an underserved population surrounding the Greater Philadelphia Region. As a general dentist, I can foster relationships with my patients so they are fearlessly invested in their treatment, starting with preventative measures. I am constantly looking to learn more about dentistry, but I do not want to restrict myself to one discipline.
I know there will be challenges as a new dentist, but I am hard working and highly motivated. If possible, I hope to find a practice that will continue to teach me through mentorship and CE courses, expanding my skillset to ensure that I deliver the highest quality of care. I am adaptable and a fast learner, so I would be excited to work on a cohesive team in a successful practice.
I have so much energy, which I attribute to my passion for dentistry and maintaining my work-life balance. I am stress-free, gentle but resilient, and non-confrontational but will stand up for what is right. In my free time, I like to run, camp, garden, and play piano.
In dental school, I am ranked one of the top 10 students in my class and served in leadership roles. In my fourth year, I was one of four students selected to train with AEGD residents. I became proficient in multiple aspects of general dentistry, including CAD/CAM, tori removal and alveoloplasty, implant restorations, and cosmetic smile design. I managed numerous patients in conjunction with office staff, assistants, and labs just as one does in private practice. Though an ambitious clinical training program, I performed more than twice as many procedures as a typical fourth-year student.
