Additional Information
My name is Wendi Furman. I am a graduate of University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio (DDS, 2018) and I recently completed a 2-year Advanced General Dentistry residency at UT Health San Antonio in June 2020. My objective is to join a dental practice as an associate dentist.
I grew up in upstate New York, then attended and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin (B.S., 2014) before being admitted to dental school. I have gained extensive knowledge and clinical skills throughout my dental education over the past six years. I am enthusiastic about the profession of dentistry, lifelong learning, continuing education, and staying current with advancements in the field. Although I am always eager to learn and advance my skills, what I enjoy most about dentistry is the opportunity to build relationships and make positive changes in the lives of others. My goal is to provide high quality patient-centered care, and to be part of a compassionate dental team that shares my philosophy.I would be happy to forward my CV, which provides greater insight to my academic and professional accomplishments. I would be most grateful for the opportunity to meet in person, video conference, or phone call to discuss career opportunities. Thank you in advance for giving my application your consideration.
My personality was shaped through my formative years growing up in a small town in upstate New York. I am an overall outgoing and enthusiastic individual. I have a drive to learn new things and push myself to be the best person and dentist that I can be. When I am not practicing, I enjoy riding my Peleton bike and hanging out with my husband and our two yorkies. I am looking forward to starting my professional life as a dentist, and am excited for new experiences and challenges.
