Since graduating dental school, I have been working 40-55 hours a week at a busy group practice in Austin. Working at such a high volume office has been valuable to me because clinically, my skills have improved much faster compared to many of the people who graduated at the same year as me. My philosophy for my first year of practice has been to "fail forward" and to limit my referrals if it's something I am capable of doing myself. I've gained valuable experience in molar endo and Invisalign because of this. I'm open to coaching but I'm driven to find answers on my own if a mentor figure isn't available to me. I can comfortably produce much more than my peers thanks to the experience I've gained at my first job
