In my two years of residency starting with AEGD and finishing with GPR, I have been exposed to a wide spectrum of dentistry. This spectrum includes all aspects of general dentistry (crown and bridge, removable, endodontics, etc), and a wide array of surgical procedures. While continuing to hone my skills in restorative dentistry, my learning focus has been on surgical procedures. In two years since graduating dental school have placed and restored over 120 implants, performed over 15 sinus augmentations, extracted over 20 sets of impacted third molars, and completed multiple full mouth fixed and removable cases. Also during my residency, I have performed over 150 cases under IV moderate sedation. These additional skills will allow me to offer patients nearly every dental need under one roof.

I am from a small town in southeast Georgia called Saint Marys. My wife and I live in Augusta, Georgia currently. We plan to move back to the coast of southeast Georgia or northeast Florida in order to be closer to our families while we raise our own. I enjoy many hobbies including fishing, hunting, golf, skiing, hiking, bee keeping, traveling, and cooking.Fun fact: When I was 19, I was involved in a boating accident which resulted in the loss of tooth #8 and severe fracture of tooth #9. In the 3 years it took to restore these areas, I had nearly every dental procedure performed on me. These three years are what brought me to a career in dentistry. Now as a resident dentist who offers these same procedures, I can relate to and consult patients on a much more personal level as to what they should expect.
