I am 28 years old and am a recent graduate of Midwestern University, IL. While in school, I developed strong organizational, managerial and clinical skills. As a small group manager, I assigned procedures amongst four student dentists, led meetings, performed procedures as well as assisted students in procedures. As the first class to graduate from Midwestern University School of Dentistry, I had to learn to deal with adversity and maintain an attitude that allowed me to succeed without always knowing what lied ahead. The procedures I was exposed to in my third and fourth years of dental school were some that were of the graduate level due to the fact we had no one else to take these patients at our new clinic. This allowed for amazing experience that is not common for a dental student in most situations. I believe these experiences have prepared me for a General Practice position.I have received clinical experience going back to 2006 in a dental office at Pulver Dental Care in Lowell, Indiana. I performed duties as a dental assistant at the office. Beginning in 2013, my duties expanded to placing filling in patients on an as needed basis. In addition, I have received over 150 hours of experience shadowing various dentists in the region of Northwest Indiana including Dr. Randy Schmidt, Dr. Neal Richter, and Dr. Howard Stevenson.Starting in 2013 at Midwestern University Multispecialty Clinic, I received additional dental experience through various dental rotations. Orthodontics, Oral Surgery, Pediatrics, and outside community rotations with an emphasis on Pediatrics and oral surgery were all completed with 2 weeks of experience each at Will County Health Department and DuPage County Health Department as well as 1 week at Loyola University hospital.

My personal characteristics of a hard working, dedicated dental professional are something I pride myself on. I will come into an office with a desire to provide excellent chair-side manner that will allow patients to feel comfortable around me and trust that I will have their best interests at heart. I will assure patients that I will give them the best treatment that I can with their well-being as my #1 priority.
