Additional Information
My ultimate career objective is to own a dental practice where I can be successful, and where I can treat families for many years.
I enjoy all aspects of dentistry, and try not to limit myself in any particular area of dentistry. I consider myself extremely versatile and have kept up with the latest in dental technology and materials. I have worked in a private practice setting, where I gained experience in all aspects of general dentistry. I have also worked in the Public Health setting where I gained experience in oral surgery, emergency treatment, and utilizing expanded duty assistants and working out of multiple operatories.
I sincerely care about my patients and the work that I am performing on them. I do not desire to sell them something they don't really want, but instead desire to give them the best option available that they can comfortably and happily afford. I take time to discuss and explain treatment plans to patients in order that they know and are comfortable with exactly what they are getting. I have been told I have a good "bedside manner," and I take this to mean that I take the time a patient needs to explain and answer questions. I also believe that my faith plays an important role in the way I practice dentistry. As a christian I want to be kind to every single patient that walks into my operatory, regardless of their situation or their attitude towards me. This has allowed me to get along very well with some very difficult patients.
