Following graduation, I participated in a General Practice Residency program at the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center. This year long experience allowed me to gain significant clinical speed and confidence that dental school did not provide. This residency also helped expand my knowledge and skill set in managing patients with a wide range of systemic illnesses. I also gained valuable experience working alongside other dental staff members.
