Additional Information
My career objective is to provide compassionate, patient-centered dental care by treating every patient with the same level of kindness, respect, and dedication that I would offer my own family. I strive to create an environment where every patient feels heard, valued, and genuinely welcomed, fostering trust and a sense of belonging within the dental office.I hope to dedicate my career to caring for families, including pediatric patients and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. My goal is to ensure that every child receives individualized, accessible care tailored to their unique needs. By emphasizing positive experiences and preventive care, I aim to reduce fear and anxiety surrounding dental treatment, helping patients build confidence in the dental setting. Ultimately, I hope to empower children and their families to achieve healthy, happy smiles that contribute to a lifetime of improved oral and overall health.
Originally from Warner Robins, Georgia, I now consider Suwanee home. As the oldest of four siblings, I grew up in a close-knit family where hard work, service to others, and lifelong learning were everyday values. My parents built careers in education and construction technology, instilling in me the importance of dedication and compassion. My journey into dentistry began with the influence of an incredible mentor and role model—my pediatric dentist—whose kindness and knowledge for caring for all patients inspired me to pursue the profession. During the summers in high school and college, my brother and I volunteered at an adaptive fitness camp, where I learned about a variety of challenges people with IDD face every day. I hope to help bridge this gap in my future career by learning more about how to adapt dental care to each specific patient.I attended the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!), where I developed a strong academic foundation and lifelong friendships. Today, two of my siblings are also Bulldogs, pursuing careers in special education and biology with plans to enter dentistry. Needless to say, lots of football will be watched. For the past three years, Augusta has been my home while attending dental school. During that time, I've not only learned more about golf than I ever imagined, but I've also had the privilege of becoming part of a family of 95 future dentists who have challenged, supported, and encouraged me throughout this journey. As I prepare to graduate, I hope to return closer to home to begin the next chapter of my career. I look forward to continuing to build my clinical knowledge and skills while serving the community that shaped me into the person I am today.
