I was born to missionary parents in Costa Rica, and grew up in between the U.S. and Costa Rica since I was born through high school. I went to undergraduate college in Georgia, then graduated from dental school in Costa Rica in 2013, then worked in private practice till 2018, where I mostly did general restorative and preventive dental care, including oral surgery, endodontics and Invisalign. After that I relocated to Arlington, Texas, where I worked in a general dentistry practice till 2021, when I applied and was accepted to a prosthodontics residency at the University of Iowa. I will be graduating in June of 2026. Having grown up half my life in Costa Rica, I am fluent in both English and Spanish.
