My name is Yasmine Weiss, and I am currently completing my residency at the Dental College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. Originally from New Jersey, I pursued my undergraduate studies at the University of Connecticut, where I discovered my passion for helping others, combining artistry with communication- leading me to dentistry as a fulfilling career path. My residency at the Dental College of Georgia has truly pushed me outside of my comfort zone, both professionally and personally. It has provided opportunities to handle complex full mouth rehabilitation cases, work with diverse patients populations and collaborate with a wide range of health care professionals. I regularly manage full mouth rehabilitations, complex implant cases, bone grafts, and intricate restorative procedures, which have significantly broadened my clinical expertise. This experience has not only strengthened my technical expertise but also expanded my confidence in my ability to mange high pressure situations, interact with patients from all walks of life and lead treatment plans with a greater sense of autonomy.
