As written in the CV:I am ending my 10 year-career as an owner doctor in multiple offices. Ballard Modern Dentistry and Marysville Modern Dentistry are both sold as of Feb 2025. I have a contract that has a buyer arranged to purchase Smokey Point Smiles Dentistry on June 1, 2025. l have been a partner to a DSO called Pacific Dental Services all this time. I have been an employer and a clinical mentor to over 30 employees and 6 associate doctors. It has been arewarding time, but now I seek to find a small office I can operate on my own with myself being the only doctor. I would like to focus purely on patients and clinical outcomes of my treatment. I have been living in Washington for the last 10 years and I seek to find my new office either in Washington or Texas. I normally run a schedule with 3-4 columns to see 15 patients a day in a PPO market. Once I get an established patient pool, I can comfortably do $8,000-$9,000 in production daily with 2.5 efficiently moving assistants. I don’t have my assistants take impressions or make temporary crowns. I do all treatment myself to ensure I can guarantee the clinical outcome to my patients. I seek to find an office that is situated in a community where patients’ demand for walk in emergencies and heavy surgery and restoration is high. An ability to perform fast-paced dentistry is important as long as I can guarantee the clinical excellence as this ensures patients get care when they need it. Their appointment time will also be short, which is my way to respect their time as I understand they already are investing their finance into the treatment and I should not take up too much of their time in return. This is how I built my reputation as a good clinician the last 10 years and I plan to be better at it by moving my focus from mentorship and management to patient care only.
