Greetings!
My ultimate career goal is practice ownership. Currently, I am seeking an associateship position to continue to develop my clinical skills and learn more about operating a private practice.
I want to make a positive impact in as many patients' well-being as possible during my career. I find dentistry to be an extremely rewarding profession and I am motivated to provide the highest level of clinical care.
I was born in the southwest suburbs of Chicago, I then attended the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana and the University of Michigan for dental school. I am avid outdoorsmen and enjoy camping, hiking, fishing and skiing. I grew up playing baseball and golf, and I am a devoted Chicago sports fan which has become increasing more challenging to remain optimistic.
I am moving to the Seattle area after the completion of my residency in July to join my girlfriend who is a first year orthodontic resident at the University of Washington.
My career path in dentistry started in high school when I began shadowing my own dentist to learn more about the profession. During my undergraduate education, I continued to be involved in pre-dental organizations while taking required course-work to apply to dental school.
I attended the University of Michigan and obtained my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in May of 2024. Throughout my time in dental school, I continually reaffirmed my passion for providing quality dental care. I was eager to continue to grow my clinical skills beyond what I learned in dental school, so I accepted a position with the South Texas Veterans Health Care System in San Antonio, Texas.
I started my AEGD residency in June of 2024. I have grown my skills from single-tooth dentistry to comprehensive dental care focused restoring function and esthetics. My experience in the residency has showed me the potential general dentists have to improve patients well-being and has inspired me to continually seek out opportunities to improve my clinical skillset
