I am from a small town in Michigan where my parents raised my older brother and I with our two wonderful pups. I grew up playing different sports and eventually stuck with soccer. I was fortunate enough to play at Eastern Michigan University during my undergraduate career and truly believe soccer has played a huge role in who I am today. I began thinking of dentistry as a career in early high school. I knew I wanted to do something in the medical field, but becoming a MD/DO didn't stick out to me. My neighbor growing up was a dentist and he was who exposed me more to the field of dentistry. I greatly enjoy working as a team and being able to truly change people's lives. I appreciate the science behind dentistry and how the mouth is connected to everything else in the body. I also appreciate the work-life balance of this career as I greatly enjoy spending time with my husband and our rescue pup!
