I was raised in Ironton, Ohio on the values of honesty, loyalty, innovative problem-solving, and the desire for constant self-improvement. I have a deep-seated love for my family and have had some of the same best friends my entire life. I believe long-standing relationships are only possible through honest communication, trust, and genuine effort toward one another. These values and qualities are attributed to my experiences thus far.

Seeing the devastating effects of poor health literacy and lack of access to healthcare in my Appalachian town was one reason I decided to pursue furthering my education at Ohio State University College of Dentistry. At OSU, we provided reduced-cost dentistry in underserved areas across the state. In addition to building my knowledge of dentistry on campus, I also had the privilege of honing my skills through mentoring opportunities. I was blessed to be invited into a small group mentoring program with a prominent Cincinnati dentist as our lead. Here we were able to learn about the process of starting a practice and becoming successful in doing so. We learned how to properly speak to patients, and the inner workings of managing a staff in a dental practice. Surrounding myself with other high achievers has manifested an obsession with self-improvement in body, mind, and spirit.

My vision is to build a dental practice that takes root in a community, one that is constantly growing, and it is my mission to offer a place where people can get the respect and smile they deserve. Through honest communication, relentless effort, and constant improvement of my skill set, knowledge, and personal relationships I will reach my goals.
