Additional Information
Hello!I recently graduated from Midwestern University in Arizona and am looking for an associate position in Florida where I was born and raised. The closer to Wesley Chapel the better but I’m open to almost anywhere in Florida.I was a dental hygienist before dental school which gave me a strong understanding and appreciation for perio and the perio-restorative connection. You won’t have undiagnosed perio in your office if I can help it! Hygiene also gave me great experience in communication and developing quality patient relationships in the real world. My top 3 strengths are ethics, compassionate care, and a commitment to clinical excellence. I’m looking for a mentor that will help me on the journey to be the best clinician I can be, ideally with high quality materials and advanced technology. In pursuit of being the best clinician I can possibly be, I’ve taken a massive amount of CE since I quit practicing hygiene in 2016 and am passionately committed to lifelong learning. I’ve done a few hundred hours of accredited CE and have spent countless thousands of hours watching webinars and doing self-study and research review. A couple of in-person courses I’ve attended are Strupp and Brumm’s Simplifying Complex Cosmetic & Restorative Dentistry and the Resnik Implant Institute. I am scheduled to complete the entire Resnik Implant Institute’s surgical and prosthetic curriculum and am considering board certification with the ABOI. I’ve been a member of the AACD since D1 year and am considering accreditation and eventually fellowship. I also plan to take hands-on CE in PRF and laser facial esthetics with Dr. Richard Miron, as well as 3D printing and digital design at the MOD Institute. My actual patient experience highlights include implant placement (freehand to fully-guided) and restoration (analog and digital), biomimetics, surgical extractions, bone grafting, connective tissue grafting, biologic shaping, PRF, biopsy, use of most laser applications from photobiomodulation (THOR) to cutting soft and hard tissue (Solea/Fotona LightWalker/SiroLaser), and more. My clinical philosophy is comprehensive, proactive care.Letters of recommendation from faculty mentors available upon request.Thank you for your time and consideration!Nicolas Yeager, DMD
