I graduated from NYU dental program in 2019 and to date have had a mixed bag experience of working as a general dentist for several DSO’s and doing light restorative & hygiene work for private offices. Reflecting back, I realize I was not fully equipped for the demands of volume, speed and caveats of public health dentistry, hence didn’t last long with those positions and at times had doubts about the profession. Experience with private offices has been immensely insightful as to how dentistry can be practiced; it has given me a clearer vision on the necessity of right mentorship and a disposition to learn. I hope to find a practice to put this attitude to practical action.
I'm of Eastern European descent; came to the US in 2011, looking for more favorable social and economical opportunities than my country (Belarus) had to offer. Besides dentistry and healthcare, I'm passionate about endurance sports, ballet and movement as a way of life. Shared together with a community of family, friends and neighbors, I believe it is one of the most incredible ways to live a fulfilling, joyful life.
