Additional Information
As I begin to plan for a career beyond residency, I hope to find myself in a practice that will allow me to use the skills I have developed throughout dental school and residency to serve patients by providing them with the best treatment that I can. I graduated from the Dental College of Georgia this past May with a strong interest in Endodontics. While I still am fascinated by the science, techniques, and principles of endodontic procedures, I have found myself appreciative of having the capability to offer my patients a wide range of services in residency. I have truly enjoyed the general practice procedures I have been exposed to and want to continue doing in addition to root canals— placing and restoring implants, extractions and bone grafts, crown lengthening, potentially cases under moderate sedation, esthetic cases & botox, and full mouth rehab cases. I hope to be in an associateship with opportunity for CE & to learn about ownership/ the business side of dentistry.
I find myself very fortunate to have entered into a profession that I am simply in love with at 26 years old— it is a grounding fact that has reminded me of how privileged I am to have a service-oriented life ahead of me. I look forward to a career as a lifelong learner with a focus on becoming the best clinician that I can. One of the aspects that I love about dentistry is that we, as dentists, have the ability to control a disease, be a vessel of healing for our patients in pain, and to restore function—having a direct impact on a patient’s life. I believe in the universal currency of a person’s smile and will continue dedicating my life to being a part of preserving those smiles-- empowered by my desires to alleviate the pain of others and our careers’ unique opportunity to touch the lives of so many people.
