In my most recent position as a General Practice Dental Resident at H. John Heinz III Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Pittsburgh, I completed the following: Provided comprehensive dental care for veterans while improving my clinical skills, evidence-based knowledge, and daily efficiency; Performed procedures under the direction of various board-certified dental specialists to provide comprehensive periodontal, prosthodontic, surgical and endodontic care to patients; Gained experience with a medically compromised patient population while incorporating medical management, polypharmacy, and multidisciplinary oral healthcare; Became competent in restorative dentistry, periodontics, removable and fixed prosthodontics, exodontia, and implant placement and restoration. Previously, as a Research Study Assistant at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (March 2012 – March 2014), I played a significant role in advancement of several surgical oncology studies through partnership with doctors, pharmaceutical companies, principal investigators and patients.

Through almost a decade of experience with a multitude of patient populations as both a researcher and subsequently a dentist, I believe I possess the communication skills and dedication to care that will allow me to excel in your practice.
