Additional Information
My ultimate goal is to be a dentist with a versatile skill set and a busy office. I have enjoyed working in private practice after residency, and I am excited to continue to grow and learn as a dentist.
I am extremely detail oriented, I love teaching, and I care about my patients on a personal level. I think my experience in teaching contributes greatly to my work as a dentist. I feel that a very important part of our career is educating our patients. Caries assessment and prevention of decay are an important part of my day to day interactions.
I care very much about my patients. From the moment someone steps into my office, I want them to know that they are with a dentist who will puts patient care first.
Prior to starting dental school, I taught high school English in New York City with Teach For America and earned a Master's Degree in Teaching. In dental school, I was the recipient of the Eleanor J. Bushnee award for Women in Dentistry. I was also selected by the academic dean for the Curriculum Management Committee, which oversees and manages the curriculum.
