I have extensive clinical experience after three years of private practice serving pediatric and adult patients, as well as three years of pediatric dentistry training at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY. I have received training in providing care for medically complex and special needs patients. Additionally, I have experience providing treatment under oral and IV sedation, and general anesthesia in an operating room setting. I am confident in my clinical skills and strive to improve every day by keeping up with current guidelines and literature. I will be taking the written portion of the board exam in May 2018 in an effort to become a Board Certified pediatric dentist.

I am energetic, hard-working and always open to learning new techniques and ways to serve my patients. I enjoy discussing treatment modalities and prevention with parents and teaching others how to better care for their family's oral health. I am very comfortable working in a team environment. I served as Class President in dental school and Chief Resident in my pediatric dentistry residency program, giving me experience in motivating a group of people as well as keeping everyone, myself included, organized.

I earned a BS in Biological Sciences with a minor in Medical Humanities from the University of South Carolina in 2007 and a DMD degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2012. I am experienced in using Axium, CPS, EagleSoft and Dentrix software and have received awards given for leadership and volunteer service.

I am certified in BLS and PALS. I have also completed Child Abuse, OSHA and HIPPA training required by Montefiore Medical Center and the state of New York.
